Dette kursus henvender sig dem der skal administrere og supportere Active Direktory i et Windows Server 2008 R2 miljø. Kurset gennemgår installation af AD både på en fuld installation af Windows Server 2008 og på en Core version. Derudover gennemgåes opbygning af AD, administration og vedligeholdelse af AD. Endvidere gennemgåes de 4 nye AD roller som findes i Windows Server 2008.

Dette kursus er forberedende til testen 70-640 MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Configuration, som er et krav hvis man ønsker at blive MCITP: Enterprise Administrator eller MCITP: Server Administrator.

Nedenfor er listet de kapitler som kurset er inddelt i. Kurset er en blanding af teori og praktiske øvelser der udføres ved at benytte virtuelle maskiner i Hyper-V.
